H.E. Frédéric Clavier, new Ambassador of France to Tanzania, presented his letters of credence to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. John Magufuli, during an official ceremony held at the State House on January 16th, 2018.

This ceremony was the occasion for Ambassador Clavier to discuss with President Magufuli the future of Franco-Tanzanian relations.

He notably presented his goals to upgrade and deepen the relation between France and Tanzania in the political and economic areas, as well as in terms of development and academic cooperation.

Confirming their shared wish to develop a strong Franco-Tanzanian partnership, President Magufuli expressed his full support and willingness to contribute to the Ambassador’s ambitious objectives, particularly by ensuring a favorable business environment for commercial exchanges and French investments.

The presidential brass band plays perfectly the French anthem in the courtyard of the State House.
