Climate, state of urgency
ARTICLE 1 - CONTEST ORGANISATION AND DATES
Alliance française, British Council, Goethe-Institut and Nafasi Arts Space, will hold a
photography contest from 1st November 2014 to 15th February 2015.
The present document defines the rules of this contest.
’ARTICLE 2 - CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST
Participation in the contest is free. The contest is based on the submission of photos that illustrate the theme “Climate, state of urgency ». Candidates are invited to present works illustrating the issues raised in their home country in relation to climate change, both real and perceived, as well as its consequences on people’s lives, and the initiatives that are taken or imagined to fight against its negative impact. This contest is open to anyone who is legally an adult in their country of origin. Participation in the contest implies unconditional acceptance of all of the present rules. Failure to obey any of the rules will result in a candidate’s participation being cancelled.
ARTICLE 3 - ENROLMENT AND HOW THE CONTEST WORKS
The first phase of the contest, which will be the responsibility of Alliance française, British Council, Goethe-Institut and Nafasi Arts Space, will be held between 1st November 2014 to 15th February 2015.
The cultural centers undertakes to set up its own jury and make a preliminary selection of photographs.
The 4 photos should be sent later the 15th February 2015 to the following address :
firstname.lastname@example.org, copy to email@example.com and
Info@britishcouncil.co.tz and firstname.lastname@example.org. In this sending, the name of the photographer and the titles of both photos have to be mentioned.
Any incomplete or non-compliant entry shall be rejected and the cultural centers shall not be held liable for any claims related thereto.
