Interviews between the French Ambassador with Parliamentarians (Dodoma , 9th November)
The Ambassador of France to Tanzania, Mrs Malika BERAK, had high level meetings with parliamentarians in Dodoma on Wednesday November 9th. She met with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Job Ndugai, who expressed his interest in forming, in future, a parliamentary cooperation between France and Tanzania.
Mrs Berak also met with the Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security, Ambassador Adadi Rajabu, a Representative of the Commission in charge of Infrastructure, Energy and Mines Development, Mr. Chachua and two officials from the Opposition camp Hon. Tundu Lissu (Chadema) and Hon. Zitto Kabwe (ACT - Wazalendo).
The visit provided a great opportunity to discuss ways in which the two countries could promote economic partnerships, since both France and Tanzania have adopted a foreign policy that spearheads economic diplomacy.
