Meeting with French NGOs operating in Tanzania
The annual meeting with the French NGOs active in the country was held on the 14th of September 2017 at the French Embassy to Tanzania, organized by the service of cooperation and cultural affairs of the Embassy.
In attendance were the following NGOs: Partage Tanzanie, Médecins du Monde, Fert, ATD Quart Monde and Bibliothèques Sans Frontières.

This meeting was an opportunity to talk about the activities of the French NGOs in Tanzania.
Médecins du Monde is present in Tanzania since 1995 and works with local organizations to assist key populations. ATD Quart Monde is committed to the fight against poverty. Fert supports the agricultural development since 2001. Bibliothèques Sans Frontières develops projects in Dar es Salaam with USDM (University of Dar es Salaam), Kasulu with the ministry for Education and the refugee camps in the region of Kigoma. Partage Tanzanie is present in rural areas and helps the communities since 1990.
The Embassy of France, via its numerous partnerships and strong network, actively supports the Tanzanian civil society actors, especially through the PISCCA program.
